A Wherry on the River Thurne passing St Benet's Level Drainage Mill.

The same boat, due to the lack of wind I've overtaken it on foot and the skipper is pushing

the boat along with a pole.

Thurne Dyke Drainage Mill.

You may just be able to see St Benet's Mill on the left and Thurne Mill on the right.

Near Thurne mouth this is a staithe off the River Bure.

Donkey in a meadow.

I can only think this headgear is keeping insects out of the eyes.

My butterfly book tells me this Meadow Brown is common, but it's the first time I've photographed it.

I must get a book on plants. This looks as if it's just burst into life.
