Photos from Oxburgh Hall Norfolk, taken on a very hot afternoon last Wednesday.

Oxburgh Hall is a 15th century moated manor house and contains needlework by Mary Queen of Scots.

Water lilies in the moat.
Bottom right is a sluice gate to drain the moat.

Looking very green in the woodland area.

We were told not to take photos in the house but here as some from the gatehouse roof.

The hall is 7 miles south-west of Swaffham and most of that is flat countryside.

More photos of Oxburgh Hall garden will follow.
